Can i follow slimming world when pregnant

Had anorexia for 2 years but then beat it beginning of the year put On about 5 stone so fast went over weight binging ect one extreme to the other Then fell pregnant after being told I'd never conceive! Was and still am mega chuffed. Have been eating healthily midwife suggested SW so I have and only gained 2lbs so far but do have a treat night once a week and the occasional treat here and there.

Having lots of calcium protein and carbs as well as tons of Fruit and vegetables! What were you doing during your first pregnancy I don't want to be like I was before too strict or binge eating when baby arrives so don't want to be depressed and gain too much weight. Im on EE plan at slimming world i put on 2 n half stone in my first pregnancy and im trying for another if it happens it happens hoping im pregnant now but cant do test yet but yes i never know you could follow it while pregnant but increase your healthy extras to 2A's and 2 B's may speak to my consultant ive lost 11lbs on plan now over last few weeks 3 more an ive lost a stone but i don't want to gain it back i want to eat healthy and keep track of eating and maintain it during pregnancy with exercise too make it easier to lose more after pregnancy xxxx.

I think when your pregnant you do forget how important it is to have a healthy diet , yes I know pregnancy cravings etc can take over but for me knowing I was being on plan , giving my body the nutrients it needed then I knew the baby would be getting all it needed from me. I had alot of sickness in my pregnancy which people said that will pass soon ….

But I was determined to get back to where I was weight wise pre-pregnancy. I had planned to go back to group as soon as , the c section wore me out though.

It took alot out of my body. I came home , enjoyed my baby boy and 6 weeks to the day he was born I knew I was ready to go back. I made the best decisions I could. Those who criticised me for following a plan while pregnant are now the ones admiring me for it. Of course you will have different types of pregnancy. I know there are people out there who have a ridiculous amount of fluid retention bloating them out while pregnant but at least you know with that when baby comes it will go.

Loved reading that, had our little girl 4 weeks ago. I lost I went back to group last week when she was 3 weeks old and lost 13lb.
